The NAHL yesterday released it's Division Stars of the Week and for the second straight week the Tomahawks had an honorable mention. Two weeks ago it was Joe Drabin that picked up the weekly honor and this past weekend one of the honorable mentions went to Johnstown goaltender, Jake Gwillim.
Gwillim only played in one game this weekend vs the Michigan Warriors but it was a dandy and almost perfect. Gwillim faced 49 shots in the game and only allowing one goal picking up the 2-1 win over Michigan. He's the only goalie for the Tomahawks' that doesn't have a loss yet as he stands on the season with a 2-0 record so far.
Gwillim has a current GAA of 2.86 and a save percentage of .921.
Last year with the Lancing Capitals, Gwillim posted a season record of 12-1-0. The most saves he made in a single game last season was 34 (did it twice).
