This past weekend the Johnstown Tomahawks faced the Sprinfield Jr Blues for the last time this season. Johnstown was able to split the two game series, winning game one, 4-2, but losing game two, 3-2.
Johnstown was out shot 61-45 on the weekend.
Johnstown's power play remained hot as they went 4 for 11 on the weekend, and Springfield's power play was 1 for 8.
Matt Williams had a good weekend for Johnstown, registering his first two points since being traded to Johnstown. Both points were assists that came in the first game.
JB Baker scored a goal and had an assist in the first game on Friday night, even though he wouldn't be credited with either until Saturday morning.
Casey Nelson had two assists on both Johnstown's goals Saturday night. He also finished the weekend with an even rating.
Jordan Watt score a goal in each game this weekend. In his last fifteen games, Watt has fifteen points (six goals, nine assists).
Mitch Kontny had the biggest weekend out of all the Tomahawks players. Kontny scored a goal and an assist in both games giving him four points. In his last sixteen games, Kontny has sixteen points (six goals, ten assists).
